Semi Auto Pumpkin and Melon Farm 1.13.1 Tutorial | Simple , All Platforms

September 11, 2017 by 15 Comments

Hi there everyone! This is a pretty standard semi-auto (you push a button to harvest it) design for a pumpkin or a melon farm. It’s super easy to make & is also super easy to expand. That’s probably why this design has existed as long as sticky pistons have. Enjoy!

A quick tutorial for a Semi-Auto Melon / Pumpkin farm design. This particular design has been around for quite some time but if this design is new to you, you'll love it.

Hi wattles I have an automatic melon and pumpkin farm you can do a video on how to do it . But the farm that you made was great

  8. Rather than sticky pistons you could place sand or gravel onto a regular piston and it should still work. Cheaper/easier if slimes aren't around to sticky-up a piston for you.

  9. I believe (and I may be wrong) that you can put redstone under the pistons and not use repeaters at all, saving space and a lot of resources

  10. Intro is kinda cool… i mean then banner, the bell and the thumbs up :P. A tip: Try not to do redstone in pure dirt looks confusing maybe you can try doing them on iron blocks .Another thing fix the video ending looks awkward to me. Cheers and good luck with your channel

  12. coming from 2018 with a question: would it be effective if i place hopper minecarts (along with a whole storage system) under the "pistonned" blocks? so that the pumpkin/melon will get straight to the chests

  13. Thank you for this. It passes the Redstone rules of a server I play on. Please make more server friendly tutorials. It's tough to farm effecicently without full auto.

  14. Is it just me or your voice kinda change a lot

  15. use a repeater to extend the core Redstone signal for builds over 15 blocks long
